What is Duo?

Duo is a post-purchase referral program that leverages cashback as a reward to incentivize word of mouth marketing.

How can Duo help increase my sales?

How do I integrate Duo into my Shopify store?

Nothing easier. simply got to www.shopifyappstore. Install the Duo Shopify app and start the onboarding process.

Why is a successful referral a duo?

Instead of saying 'advocate' and 'invitee' when a referral is sucessful, 'duo' was a simpler way of naming it.

What if a Duo is not completed?

If a Duo is not completed, meaning no one used the discount code that was generated post-purchase. The cashback offer expires and no one gets the rewards: Cashback for the advocate and discount for the invitee.

Set up

How do I configure the rewards?

To configure the rewards simply go to the referral program section in the Duo app and select the rewards tab.

You then configure the rewards as cashback for the advocate and as a discount for the invitee.

The rewards are tied to the advocate order amount. You can create different order amount ranges to align with your profit margins.

How do I activate the post-purchase widget?

To activate the post-purchase widget simply navigate to the widget section in the Duo app and toggle the switch to enable it.

How do I link my domaine name?

In the email section of the Duo app, you can link your domain name to send email notifications directly from your own domain. This provides a more consistent and branded experience for your customers, enhancing trust and credibility.

Can I customize the look of Duo to match my store?

Upload your logo, and it will be prominently displayed on the automated emails sent to customers when your Duo referral program is active.

For added branding control, customers on our Startup or Pro plans can also customize the email templates.

Widget Customization Coming Soon At this time, the post-purchase widget that displays the cashback offer cannot be customized. However, this feature is on our roadmap and will be available in the future.

Can I track the performance of Duo on my store?

Yes! You can track the performances of the Duo referral program through your shopify store on the Duo app homepage.

Cashback

What is cashback?

Cashback is the reward that the advocate will receive on their order after the post-purchase discount code is share and redeemed by an invitee.

Cashback is simply a percentage of the purchase that was made without shipping costs that is credited back the advocate bank account.

Discount

Should I set a minimum order value for the invitee?

Yes, we always recommend setting a minimum order value to redeem the discount code. This will make sure that nobody is abusing the reward system and that you are still in control of your profit margins.

Email

Can I disable email notifications?

No, you cannot disable the email notification system. If you are startup and above you can fully personalize them with your branding and tone of voice.

What are the costs associated with using Duo

Duo has a three tiered subscription model starting with a free version a startup plan at 29$ and a pro plan at 189$

How are transactions billed?

Transactions are billed montly please refer to the Duo app billing section to see your renewal date.

Compatibility & Performance

What e-commerce platforms does Duo work with?

Duo works solely on shopify with plans for more e-commerce CMS in the future.

Will Duo affect the loading speed of my website?

No Duo wont affect the loading speed of your website thanks to our deep integration with the shopify ecosystem.

Is Duo localized for international shoppers?

Yes, Duo is localized for international shoppers in English, Spanish and French with plans for other languages in the near future.

How does Duo handle customer data?

Duo is complying with the latest GDPR regulations as well as the shopify regulations regarding customer data.
