Here is a breakdown of the events of the Duo referral program from initial purchase to successful referral.

1st | Active | A purchase has been made. Meaning a discount code has been generated and your customer can share it in order to receive a cahback on his/her purchase. |

| Refundable | The discount code has been used. This is when you check if it has been used in an appropriate way that does not abuse the referral system. |
3rd | Completed | You have approved the cashback offer. |
3rd * | Declined | You have declined the cashback offer because of abuse or malicious intent. |
3rd ** | Cancelled | This is when the time limit to share and redeem the discount code has expired. The cashback offer thus expires as well |
When a discount code has been shared and redeemed you get to decide if its a legitimate referral and get to approve or deny the cashback reward.
